Internet Explorer 6 compatible… sorta

October 9th 2008 in Design, Site News

This theme is compatible with Internet Explorer 6, but doesn’t want to play very nicely. The only issue I ran into was of course, png image usage. I used the Twinhelix png fix, and it seems to work pretty well. It’s the only fix I’ve found that allows background images within an external css file. Although, they cannot be set to repeat. Hence the one issue I ran into.

If you view in IE6, you’ll get a run active-x prompt, and if you don’t okay it – the entire top of the site will have a grey bar where the floral detail is to appear. Other than that; the theme should work everywhere else withou a hitch.

There are still some issues here and there that I’m working around – but in the next few days this theme should be ready and available for download.
